Back in 2015, My Guest Book and Peak Functions joined forces for a wedding competition. It remains a lovely memory from those early days, and a collaboration we value.
Peak Functions, based in Wanaka, is a beautiful venue for weddings, conferences and special celebrations. With its views, it offered couples a memorable place to gather with family and friends.
The prize was one of our personalised Fingerprint Tree Wedding Guestbooks. These guestbooks give wedding guests a creative way to leave their fingerprint as a leaf on a hand drawn tree, creating a unique piece of artwork for the couple to keep long after the wedding day. Guests can also sign their names or leave a short message, turning the finished print into a meaningful record of everyone who shared the celebration.
To enter, friends and family were invited to nominate their favourite bride-to-be in the comments beneath our Facebook competition post. Entrants were also encouraged to tag themselves if they wanted to be included in the draw. The winner was selected at random after the competition closed on Thursday 29 January 2015.
Although this competition has now finished, the idea behind it still feels special. A fingerprint guestbook is more than a traditional signing book. It becomes a piece of personalised wedding décor and a lasting reminder of the people who helped celebrate the beginning of a new chapter.
