A look back at our wedding guestbook giveaway
This giveaway has now closed, but we’re keeping it here as a little piece of My Guest Book history. In March 2016, we gave one lucky person the chance to win a Fingerprint Wedding Guestbook for their wedding day.
What was the prize?
The prize was a medium-sized Fingerprint Wedding Guestbook worth $125. The winner could choose their favourite design from the designs available on our website.
The guestbook was supplied unframed and included the inks and pen needed for guests to add their fingerprints and messages. It was designed to become a colourful and personal keepsake from the wedding day.
How did people enter?
To enter, people visited the My Guest Book Facebook page and commented with their favourite bride-to-be. Entrants could nominate a friend, and they could enter themselves if they wanted to be in the draw too.
Entries closed at midnight on Sunday 13 March 2016. The winner was drawn at random and announced on Monday. Competition terms and conditions applied.
Why fingerprint guestbooks make a lovely keepsake
A fingerprint guestbook gives wedding guests a simple way to leave something personal behind. Each fingerprint becomes part of the finished artwork, creating a colourful record of the people who celebrated with you.
