This book is made from Natural Veg Tanned Leather made here in New Zealand.

This book has been made with love and care, by hand, in our studio, using the highest quality materials and traditional bookbinding techniques.

The pages of these books are made from 135 gsm luxurious Mowhawk Superfine paper. The pages are unlined so there is lots of space for guests to write freehand messages and get creative. 

The post-bound book has pages held between a leather binding strip inside the book, bound with gold Chicago screws.

What is vegetable Tanned Leather?:

• It is a natural, vegetable-tanned cowhide leather reknowned for its natural, eco-friendly production process.
• Leather hide, preserved (tanned) using natural extracts such as tree bark.
• A hallmark of this leather is its natural markings in the grain from wrinkles, proving it has not been treated with harsh chemicals and dyes.
• This beautiful leather develops a unique rich patina over time, adding character and depth to your leather guestbook.
